I'm a professional basketball player overseas mostly in Europe. I live in the country where I play for 7 months and the other 5 I usually head back to the states to visit friends and family.

I grew up at the Jersey Shore (not like the show) and I love to be outdoors;hiking, biking or anything in the water (oceans, lakes, streams). I love to read and relax but am used to always being on the go. I am very much like my dad in that I can talk to anyone, I love meeting new people and learning new cultures.

My absolute favorite thing in the world is food!! I love to try new foods, eat food, make food, basically anything food is good with me. I also consider myself a wine snob and love to learn about the wine making process. Recently after traveling some I have learned a lot about beer as well and starting to appreciate all the different flavors.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on Couchsurfing because I am traveling for a few months through Europe and I've been staying at hostels and I am getting tired of the monotonous routine of doing a walking tour and then going out with other people who are traveling. Don't get me wrong I have met the most amazing people through these tours and such. However I would really love to get the locals point of view! I am always trying to be a local anyways.

Though I love to see the touristy/historical places. You can normally find me in the local cafe or parks trying to fit in with the locals.

Being on Couchsurfing allows me to actually meet locals instead of just trying to fit it.
