ABOUT ME

Just a guy who loves traveling and making friends. I left Washington, DC this past spring (I had been there for like seven years) and came out west. So far, I've been through Montana, Idaho, Colorado, Wyoming, Nevada, and California. Now, my sights are set on Oregon.

I sometimes get too caught up in the day-to-day shit to see the big picture, I really believe that community must be a secret to the good life. If we spread the love around, we'll get it back in spades.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I want to become part of my local community of hosts once I land somewhere for a bit. Until then, I'm meeting great communities of couchsurfers across the country.

I realize that my references aren't as numerous as one might like, but I've only been with the group for a few months. If you have any questions don't hesitate to send a message to me or to either of my references. = )

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've only been couchsurfing for a two or three seasons, but so far it's been amazing. I guess I've been couchsurfing for years without knowing about the community that exists here. Lately, I've been moving around working at different national parks. Most recently, I was in southwest Colorado and a couple different spots in and around Yellowstone in Montana and Wyoming. My latest dream is to discover the northwest.

Mostly I'm interested in people. Our history, culture, future. Lately, I've been focused on the experience of travel and tourism, but from a sociological or even philosophical perspective.

Beyond that, I'm big into music and always trying to find new artists to enjoy.

If my house was burning down and i could only grab three items, I'd probably go for my macbook, it's charger, and a pack of Camel Lights
