I lived in Portugal with my folks and had no opportunity to enroll on couchsurfing at the time, but always wanted to, especially after meeting other couchees. Moved to Gent, Belgium, where I live now for almost 9 years.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I did couchsurfing without the help of the website before, and after joining this project I have hosted much more often than I've been hosted. And I have been loving this experience!
I believe sharing is a very important aspect of my life, and couchsurfing is all about that!

In any case, I think a lot of what couchsurfing was is getting lost. Honestly, I don't need to host or be hosted only by people that find my ideas interesting, or vice-versa. Surprise is a key element for me, and even people with totally opposite ways of thinking can get along.
However, nowadays I get it more and more that couchsurfers I got in contact with or that contact me are more worried about how compatible people are rather than willing to help each other. It's a shame, but it is what it is...

Well, the first thing would be cooking. I love cooking for friends and learning new recipes.
Also, jam sessions (as long as you can fit my poor djembé and didgeeridoo skills) are also on the menu!
