About Me

New Update:
We have recently moved to Lahore but we aren't hosting at the moment due to some personal reasons.

*************

Old Intro:
I am a self appointed Ambassador of Islamabad :p and I have been working on this position from last two years now ;)

On a serious note, I love Islamabad and l also love to host my friends and to take them to extraordinary and unexplored places of Islamabad. I feel accomplished when my guests admire the experience and/or like the scenery.

I am a traveller myself and I believe travelling can bring peace and harmony to this world. I think everybody should at least spend a few months in some different region/culture (from which he/she was born in) and understand the difference in the lifestyle. This exposure becomes great source of tolerance and interfaith harmony in the society.

I think of myself as an easygoing, friendly, caring and devoted person and i appreciate long walks and deep conversations.

PHILOSOPHY: How easily nothing happens ;)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I completed MBA in change management from IAE Aix France (It’s a beautiful small town near Marseilles and Mediterranean) and during my student life I started Couchsurfing (and some other similar activities) to save money while travelling (please don't judge me). However, I came across some AMAZING people through this wonderful community and found some everlasting friendships.

I learned some French, cooked French cuisine for my fellow surfers. Many of my kitchen surfer conversations have led to enticing discussions with perspectives I might have never known existed. In one of my Couchsurfing experiences, i got to discuss photo albums of my host's family members and discussed our cultural backgrounds till dawn :) That's how I fell in love with this jovial lifestyle and I continued with it.

All in all, I think its a very authentic way to not just travel a new country but to live it. It gives you a perfect opportunity to experience a new lifestyle and its culture from the closest.

Interests

I like meeting new people, and learning from their experiences.
I like going adventurous and crazy - e.g. Rock Climbing, Sea-diving.
I have participated in numerous stage plays (i like to think i am bit of an artist :p
Photography is my newly found passions ... i love photographing my friends.
Occasionally I like cooking and making (only) other people eat ;)
