About Me

Am a bit of a programmer but do feel like I'm on the watch out for many more of exciting things we can do in life. Very much of a music and dancing lover (catalyzed by Berlin experience, so no jokes here). Trying (🥲) to be sports lover as well, but with all the chaos in the world and lots of moving I find it yet hard to maintain regular schedules of anything but swimming and easy yoga

Usually can't sit in front of the laptop for a long time cause then I'm sad and/or demotivated (hellooo, OCD) so I always need to jump into some random activity, trip or party to refresh my mind a bit

Practicing partying and dancing sober 😳
[eeew, u boring nerd] - some might say, but nah, I've just figured out that music and good vibes might get you higher than lots of other stuff
Or I'm just dodging hangovers 🤔 Not 18y.o. anymore, you know...

Doesn't mean I'll never join you for a drink, it's all about the atmosphere 🥰

You can disregard all this information by the way. If you consider yourself a generally nice person and the way you treat others starts with respect and empathy - I'm 97.9% sure we are good to go 🤗

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love travelling, who doesn't? Actually a lot of people don't (and just pretend they do). But you and I, we are travellers and we need each other to provide us with the most intense and inimitable experience of exploring new places and delight our spirit of travel. So, why wait?

lmao, what a paragraph I wrote back than

this one is perfect, no corrections needed

Music, Movies, and Books

🎧For the last few years I've been listening to tones of different music from rock to rap, from indie to hiphop and from reggae to funk. But if you need to understand something about my music taste, here is a small sampling: Linkin Park (from the childhood and forever), twenty one pilots, granson, Watsky, NF, Dermot Kennedy, The Cat Empire, Avicii, Skryptonite, Arctic Monkeys, Call Me Karizma, Post Malone, Noize MC, Bring Me the Horizon.

🎥 From classics: Fight Club, Inception, Pupl Fiction, Forrest Gump, Catch Me If You Can, Knockin' on Heaven's Door.
From the recent ones: Green Book, Spider-Man: Far From Home (not really a fan of Marvel Studio films, but this one - great), Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (these Juice WRLD and Malone's tracks...goosebumps).
TV-series: Breaking Bad (the best of all times), Mr. Robot, Black Mirror, Rick and Morty, Fargo, The Office.

phew, "the recent ones" are way too outdated, I also noticed that... someday, someday...

📚 Dostoevsky, Bulgakov, Astafiev, Orwell, Rowling (need to reread Harry Potter - people say it's really different when reading it as an adult)
Funny enough, update 3 years later: Eliezer Yudkowsky - HPMOR is one of the most interesting and exciting books I've read. Buckle up, it's a big one.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveled through the whole island of Taiwan, mostly hitchhiking and couchsurfing! 🥰

Teach, Learn, Share

Can tell some interesting things about my childhood in the small Russian town.

We can could cook food together, sharing cooking traditions of our families and countries. I can teach you how to cook different types of soup (two hours - and lunch for the whole week is ready, that's how I wad surviving my university years in Saint Petersburg lols). Easy way to cook pilaf or not too easy but really exciting way to cook greek μουσακά or tiramisu :D

We can talk about IT or sports. Ooor about mixin it!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can teach you how to speak Russian with Armenian accent ^^

Can tell you funny stories from high school and university years || from last trips (but only last ones, cause our generation has really big problems with memory, you know). Will surely support any meaningful discussion of some serious stuff...

Ah yes, my go-to offering is handmade Tiramisu, if we have enough time for it! Approved by lots of hosts already (even by the very Italian ones, so...)
