About Me

Travel has taught me that the news and reality are often very different. Some of the kindest people I’ve met were in places the world considers dangerous.

I enjoy traveling slowly and understanding cultures beyond headlines. Over the years I’ve had the chance to visit many different countries and meet people from very different backgrounds.

Some of my journeys have taken me to places like Myanmar, Afghanistan, Iran, Bangladesh, Vietnam and the Philippines. These trips have taught me that you often see the best of humanity in the most unexpected places.

Iran is one of my favourite countries because of the incredible hospitality of the people. I even had a strange experience where I was unfortunately scammed by a Couchsurfer there, but the kindness of many others completely outweighed that one bad experience.

Recently I visited the Philippines and absolutely loved it — beautiful islands, friendly people and great energy, although the typhoons can sometimes be unpredictable.

Myanmar was also fascinating, and the food there reminded me a lot of Indian cuisine which made me feel surprisingly at home.

Travel for me is not just about places — it's about the people you meet and the stories you collect along the way. And honestly, the best stories are usually shared over coffee when we meet in person.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

For me Couchsurfing is about cultural exchange, not just accommodation.

I enjoy meeting travelers from different countries, hearing their stories and sharing experiences from my own travels. Some of the best parts of traveling come from conversations with people you would never meet otherwise.

Teach, Learn, Share

I enjoy exchanging knowledge and experiences.

I can help with English, Python, and some basics of Data Science. I’m also happy to share travel experiences from different countries and talk about traveling as a vegetarian.

I enjoy learning about other cultures, languages, food and different ways people see the world.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Travel stories, conversations, and hopefully some good company.

I can also cook Indian vegetarian food.

Mostly I enjoy meaningful conversations and learning from people’s different life experiences.
