About Me

I don’t have a lot of experience using CS but don’t let my lack of references put you off. We all have to start somewhere! I have been travelling for the last two and a-bit-years. My favourite and most cherished experiences whilst being on the road, has been being welcomed into others homes. It's a great privilege and one that I don’t take lightly, as I understand it can be a little daunting to invite a complete stranger into your house!

I’m pretty easy going sociable person. People have told me if I was anymore laid back I would be lying down. Modesty and respect for all walks of life are important values to me. In life we may not agree with everybody’s values and morals. That doesn’t not mean we cannot treat each other with compassion and humility. We all need to give each other a supportive hand once in a while; especially in a time when social media reigns supreme!

I love a good party, music will always be a big part of my life. You will find me in my ellement on the dance floor. Lets boogie!

I have been working as a mental health nursing for the last three years. It’s fascinating job which has given me the opportunity to meet people from all walks of life. What I have understood is that none of us are perfect and our individual journeys and experiences may be different; but all of us have the desire to be loved and feel content in life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

A tour guide will only show you a snippet of what’s on offer in a new city. Meeting the locals on CS is a much better way to get established. I think CS is a fantastic way to connect with people on a face to face, in an age where we are increasingly disconnected from human interactions. Let’s put down out phones for an evening and share a meal, swap stories and laugh. (I'm not a terrible cook!)

As soon as I have a more perminant address I will be looking to host as many people as possible. Untill then I will have to depend on the kindness of strangers to give me a place to stay. Maybe you are that stranger. Get in touch.
