You can call me Arta. I am from Bandung, Indonesia ( http://wikitravel.org/en/Bandung ) I am open minded person, love to laugh, walk a lot and do some fun activities. I am a freelancer, sometimes it makes me busy in weekday or weekend or makes me doing nothing in the whole of the week. Depend on the situation.

I'm a dreamer who has a dream to around the world. I had a big curiosity to know how big the world is, how large the lands are and how nice people out there although we never even meet them yet before. Traveling or meet some travelers are my way to fulfill my knowledge and the soul about life.

I am not a party person, prefer to drink coffee or tea, eat something sweet at the cozy place and talk alot about everything than I have to push my self to be a listener in crowded place. I love to come to some gigs or music concerts but club or disco is not my style. I am not smoker so please keep away your smoke from me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to travel around the world. The first step I can do for travelling is travel from people stories. Connect myself in the circle with other people from different places, stories, cultures and characteristics will be an amazing experience.

Why I'm on couchsurfing? I want to prove that nothing impossible in this world include with my dream to around the world. Altough the world is too big to visit, but you are not alone, right? I belive about THE KINDNESS OF STRANGER!

Interests

I like travel to the new places that I never visit before. Talk about everything which interesting like life experiences, art, music, photograph and fresh jokes. I like laughing! hahaha

I start to be an illustrator so I need practice more. Maybe someone can teach me to draw or we can sketch together? 😆

Music, Movies, and Books

Talk about music, I have no special music, but I like music which has good lyrics and good sounds. I like sing some songs but the difficult for me is remember the tittle, singer and lyric. Just hum only! hahaha

Talk about book, story book for children is the best. Full color and easy to read. But actually, I love to read novel. Harry potter, Dan Brown's book or Chicken Soup series are the books which I ever read.

Talk about movie, I like animation, fiction, and adventure movies. Watch something with impossible idea, full color and high imagination are very interesting. The movie must be entertain, fun and makes your mind relax. No more stress! So, the horror movie is the last choice for me. :D

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Have graduated from Architecture major in University, built some projects interior or architecture design and people love it, got job to prove my capability to be a designer, looked after someone in hospital, visited some places which I never visited before, to be a solo traveller for the first time, reached the summit of Semeru Mountain, lost in the forrest with no food and must be survive, tought many thing to other people who need, wooow many amazing things that I have done. Almost half of my life journey are amazing even if it was simple case. Those are amazing when you see from the other sight than other people see.

And to see, meet and share with you maybe will be an other amazing thing which will I do, soon! :)

I like these all the words; teach, learn and share.

I love to share my idea, story or knowledge which I have to everyone. Learn some unique habits, cultures, cuisine or languages will be interesting, let me try it! :)

I was a teacher, so to teach everything which I can will be not a big deal. As long as I know and I can, I will teach you everything with my pleasure. :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I bring my painting tools if I trip to somewhere. I like to make simple postcard sketch. I didn't bring any souvenir from my country, but I can make a special postcard as a gift for you. It handmade with personal touch from me. Sounds good? I always put my artwork in my host house as a souvenir. :)
