Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To unify the world.
ABOUT ME
I'm currently a student studying social work and ethics. I'm a really relaxed person and love meeting new people. That's actually my reasoning behind registering for this site. I want to travel and gain insight into the various perspectives of the people I meet along the way. It should be an adventure!
In my free time I like to go walking, read, find new music, take photos, go to concerts, travel, dance, go for coffee/tea, write, and cook. I'm always up to learning and trying new things. Honestly, it puts me on edge at first, but I think it's good for me. Gets me out of my bubble. :)
I'm also an avid volunteer and many of my travels have been a result of volunteer activities. I did some environmental work in Florida, facilitated an art program for kids in Indiana, etc. It's my passion!
PHILOSOPHY
Unity cannot be had through the politics of world leaders. It takes the effort of each and every individual. One body, one life, one chance.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm hoping to get more involved as both a surfer and a host.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've actually just started this, but I learned about couch surfing from this guy I met in a hostel in San Francisco who had traveled the US for at least a year relying on hostels and couch surfing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The most amazing experience I've had was this past Spring in San Francisco. I went with a group to volunteer at Glide's meal program in the Tenderloin District, an area known for it's homelessness issues. It was awesome to relate to the clients and the permanent workers about their lives and experiences.
Teach, Learn, Share
I used to teach east coast swing at the local college. I definitely wouldn't mind showing couch surfers some moves!
