Hi everyone, I'm Piotr.

I'm a civil engineer currently living in London redefining its skyline. Just something I want to show my grandkids one day.

Other than work, I love to cycle around, both locally and abroad. Last year my friend and I cycle-toured around Ireland for three weeks and it was an amazing and unforgettable thing to do. I got into it so much, that this year we're repeating our adventure in Portugal/Spain in September.

I like to go out with friends, see an odd art exhibition, go to a non-mainstream cinema, drink wine outdoors, read lots of books and hopefully write something myself at some point.

I enjoy simple things in life like morning sun, good coffee, nature, colours of autumn, summer, second-hand book shops, smell of fresh cut grass.

I have just started learning Spanish again (afer 10 years of a break), so I'm a bit rusty in this sense, but I'm hoping to improve fairly quickly.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I was an inactive member for a few years (mainly due to work) but now I'm coming back!

I would like to meet travellers from all over the world, share the joy, kindness and fascinating stories. I hope that this will motivate me to do more in life :)

I love to read fiction, mainly 20th century and contemporary writers. Some of my favourites are Ernest, Hemingway, Julio Cortazar, Mario V. Llosa, Milan Kindera, Franz Kafka, John Steinbeck, Olga Tokarczuk, Jakub Żulczyk, Szczepan Twardoch and many, many more that aren't coming to my mind at this very second.

Movies I have recently watched: Heartbeats, Midnight in Paris, Call me by your name.

Well I can give you an advice about ice skating if there's a possibility.
