G'day legend!

My name's Artem and I'm from Australia - some mates call me Timmy.

I'm a big fan of people and traveling, I love a good laugh, and even more, I love exploring and going on adventures with good friends.

I've only really started traveling internationally in the last few years, so the novelty and excitement of it is at its absolute peak for me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I heard through a friend that this was one of the best ways to meet amazing people internationally, and get absorbed into a culture in a unique way.

I'm here to give it a crack!

Interests

I've got a million different interests, and I pick up new hobbies every year haha.

My biggest ones though are probably surfing, sports, and building/engineering things.

I've traveled around Indonesia and bits of Australia to surf. My closest mates and I meet up at least once a week, usually around 6am, and send some waves together.

I love building and engineering things, from software, hardware, random things around my house in Adelaide, even to the point where I have some patents pending through work. I get an immense amount of joy being able to create things in life.

I really enjoy trying new things, and will rarely say no to something neat. I've biked around the aqueducts of Rome, scootered through Indonesia, paraglid in Switzerland, canyoneering in Bern, kayaked between fingers in Cinque Terra, made croissants in Paris, and jumped onto waves that were way too big for me.

I love learning languages when I travel around too - if I had infinite time, I would travel the world and learn every language. I'll always make an effort to remember words or phrases you teach me.
