I'm Artem Kuznetsov. If my last name didn’t already give it away, I was born in the Eastern European country of Belarus. After moving to the US in 1993 and without a word of English, I quickly immersed my mind in everything and anything creative.

I've been exploring the world of entrepreneurship through various ventures since 2002, from legal insurance, to publishing magazines, to web software development. After exiting my last venture, and through deep personal reflection, I'm ready to peel back yet another layer of understanding who I am, and how I want to create in the world. I'm setting off on a sabbatical for a few months to explore the tattoo imprinting on my arm: BEAUTIFUL UNCERTAINTY. I'm ready and excited to follow the spontaneous call of my spirit and see where life leads.

While I am away, and living off the grid, my partner Michael is staying back home in Minneapolis to hold down the fort, water the plants (I've given him detailed instructions!), and love and care for our German Shepard/Doberman mix sweetheart, "INVOICE". Yeah, her name is Invoice.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've joined Couchsurfing with the intention to meet local people through my journey. I think seeing the local communities and cultures is best through people that live in that community :-)

I also love meeting new people, hearing stories about their life journey :-)
