Hi! My name is Artem. Originally I'm from Russia, but I lived abroad since I was 15. Three years in France, one year in Netherlands (Amsterdam) and now I live and study in Southern California.

I'm fluent in Russian, French and English (duh), but I attempted to learn Spanish and Swedish without quite a success. Maybe because I was slacking...

I like outdoor activities, but I'm not really into team sports. I mean I like playing, but I don't like watching someone else do it. Isn't it better to play soccer rather than watching some dudes running with a ball?!

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

I climbed the Rainier mountain in Washington state and almost died under a rock &ice fall-off when leading the way down an ice wall. This was Liberty Ridge (level 5). My GoPro camera was knocked off my shoulder by a boulder and it's now probably somewhere in the glacier crevice. It was really scary.

I love learning about new places/cultures and history behind it. I try to learn as much as I can without pissing off the storyteller. Don't freak out! I'm just trying to imagine how is it to have that life experience of yours :)
