Overview
About Me
Easy going, calm, always up for an adventure and meeting new people. All my life lived in Kyiv, so I know some good places. Used to travel all over Ukraine for work, and became in love with all the scenery and what it can offer. Planning a road trip around the western part of my country this summer.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Always liked helping foreigners to get around. Got introduced into the CS community by a friend. Met a lot of great people here and we had the best adventures together. If you send me a request to host you, start it with the word "Mustache", so I know you've read my profile and not just spamming requests. Since I live alone, it's a fun hobby for me to host interesting people. Would also like to start traveling, because I've only been to Kazakhstan.
Music, Movies, and Books
I love all mind-games movies, also into sci-fi is a genre I admire.
Black Mirror, ExMachina, Minority Report, the Prestige.. ect.
Robert A. Heinlein
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
*Resisted the urge to try out fidget spinners.*
Teach, Learn, Share
- I can teach you Ukrainian, Russian, Basic Photography, how to not get mugged in Ukraine.
- Learning about you and your country would be interesting for me. I also like to gather interesting life stories.
- Probably the best thing I can share with you is a great view from the tallest building in our neighborhood.
- There's a small established CS community in Kyiv and I can blend you right in so you will have a chance meet lots of awesome people.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can cook you something native to Ukraine or bring you a present from my country.
BEFORE YOU REQUEST!
- I'm not accepting people with little to no references, and rarely host someone for more than 2 nights. Also don't send requests to host you more than two weeks in advance, since I can't plan that far ahead and don't want to promise something I'm not sure of.
