ABOUT ME

We're young, non-smoking active Ukrainian couple, who are enjoying life and exploring world around us. We like travelling, listening to good music, like to discover new sides of life, communicating with different people all over the world.
Few months ago we returned from our South-East Asia trip, where we spent 18 months travelling around Thailand, Malaysia, Myanmar, Indonesia, Lao, Brunei.

Artem works as a web-designer, and Ira guides a blog about free or cheap travelling & different travelhacks : http://sam-sebe-columb.com/ (It's mainly on Russian, so you'll need to use a translator if you don't know Russian=))

Also Artem is learning to play guitar, but not much result so far=)))

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Currently we dont have any opportunity to host (we live at parents' after returning back to hometown), but we always ready to help with information, or just hang out in Mykolayiv | Kyiv | Lviv (depends where we are now=))))

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We can't host, but already met a bunch of cool & interesting people all over the world so far, thanks to CS=)

Here's a short list:
Star Wars, Alien, Back to the future, Lord of the rings, Mr.Nobody, Indiana Jones, Nightmare on Elm Street, all Tim Burton's movies, etc.
As for books: Stephen King,Sergey Lukjyanenko, Strugatsky brothers, etc.

Teach, Learn, Share

Couchsirfing is a great helper in learning another cultures and countries. None of the encyclopedias, traveller's guidebooks or touristic guides will show the inner life of the country you visit as its natives)
