About Me

Howdy! I'm Artem and I'm inspired by the idea of couchsurfing. I like to learn something new and explore this world. In fact, I have already traveled quite a lot in my country, but have never been abroad. But now I'm trying to fix it. I am an open person, I like to meet new people who can share something new with me. I can share my experience too:)

I told my girlfriend Alexandra about my couchsurfing experience and now she wants to try it too. Now we are traveling together.

Hey, I am Alexandra, an English tutor living in St.Petersburg. I am keen on gardening (there are fresh tomatoes on my window), literature, languages(a bit of Italian and German), nature (we travel in the region and Russia a lot) and knitting (my bf wears mittens made by me).
I truly believe that the world is full of kind people and I want to pass my belief to young Russians I work with. That's why I need to explore new places and see new people. It is essential for me.
There is no better way to learn about a place than getting to know local people and tasting local food. And gee, do I love food!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

For me, this is a new and interesting experience and an opportunity to find new interesting people and friends.

Music, Movies, and Books

music: I love different music according to my mood(hip-hop,R&B, indie rock, sometimes pop) ;
movies: something unusual(Limitless, Inception);
books: Jack London, various books about self-development.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

my hitchhiking trip is 1400 km away.

At that moment I realized that the world is open and if you are a good person, the world will open before you and you will always be helped.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to play the guitar and some programming (web). Recently learned to juggle, it's easier than it looks! Or we can just practice English or Russian (I don't know why you need this crazy language, haha)

What I Can Share with Hosts

if you want, we can try to organize a small photoset from my IPhone:)
