I am a curious person, trying to move around with open eyes. I like open and creative people with active life stance and broad interests. Mine are music, philosophy, sports (cycling, skiing), books, movies, good food. Above all I value good sense of humour.

Music: old school house (Chicago and New York), soul and funk (old Motown and Stax), Detroit techno, blues, jazz (from boppers and Miles Davis to Bossa Nova and cool), synthpop, world music and ethno, classical music (preferably light and airy, like Vivaldi or Mozart), mildly wacky stuff (experiments of Bill Laswell and the gang, some Ninja Tune releases, Bootsy Collins, Amon Tobin etc.), ambient (Cafe Del Mar etc.). Music is big for me, and my tastes are pretty eclectic.

Books or rather authors: Bulgakov, Pushkin, Chekhov, Ilf and Petrov, Strugatsky brothers, Tolkien, Salinger, Remark, Ionesco, Poe, Twain, Steinbeck, Updike, Exupery, Joan Rowling (no LOL'ing please, I'm serious;-) and lots of others depending on the mood.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

A gig of Cesaria Evora in Kharkiv, that's where I was touched by something outside of this world. It was big, warm and beautiful. After the gig I understood why all the band members and support staff were looking at Cesaria with an expression of such adoration. They were all illuminated by her light. RIP, Cesa! You made me a better person.
