About Me

CURRENT MISSION

travel the world, maybe help save it, certainly not harm it!

ABOUT ME

Steve is a world traveler, art collector, lay anthropologist and enthusiast of gastronomy who is 60 years old. These days I run an organic farm, often hosting WWOOF interns on 56 acres in the California wine country where I curate an extensive collection of art and maintain an Artspace and Residency for use by myriad artists from around the World. I am a long-time member of both SERVAS and HC, an easy and polite guest and here at the ranch, I typically host dozens of visitors each year!

Susan and I travel together often, she is a retired teacher who shares many of the same passions as do I. We remain now in California after a year of international travel followed by a few recent years populated with numerous 6-8 week visits to various parts of the world. All of those including of course, many CS experiences.

We can host often at our Sierra Foothills ranch and sometimes in Downtown Sacramento as well depending on our own schedules.

PHILOSOPHY

Live sustainably, consume carefully, eschew greed, be kind, helpful, considerate, tolerant and generous. Learn something new at every opportunity. Listen carefully to the opposing view and find the good there.
