About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To get to heaven.

ABOUT ME

I love people, hands-down. And people make me. So if you know yourself, then you already know something, if not many things, about me.

PHILOSOPHY

Nothing to lose, everything to gain.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Proactive existence.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

All couch-surfing and cave dwelling alike have been done through independent means thus far. I think that's a defining coming of age for many of those in their 20's during these times.

UPDATE: I am no longer in my 20s.

Interests

Dancing, (making) music, film, literature, being in and on the water, adventure, the bare naked outdoors, I used to ride BMX freestyle for over 4 years, basketball, tennis, table tennis, and travel, of course.

I am serious in the next few years to become a skilled mountaineer and surfer.

In the meantime, and for the rest of life, I want to sail, play piano, perfect my Spanish, enhance my Russian, learn French and Arabic, play better guitar, and keep laughing at a moderate pace.

Music, Movies, and Books

Too many. But I enjoy the personal tales of many American authors as they are woven into their fictional works, such as Hemingway, Steinbeck, and Capote.

I owe Fight Club a permanent number one spot in my list of all-time favorite films, and we can certainly discuss more later as I have been passionate about film since my youth.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Breathed.

Teach, Learn, Share

If you have a freestlye bike, I can teach you how to bunny hop, the first trick everyone learns and some of the most frustrating time spent trying to do so.

If you have a basketball, I can teach you how to dribble well and obtain good hand-to-eye coordination.

If you are having trouble in math, science, or many other subjects, I would be more than happy to work with you to understand the concepts. I taught in a Los Angeles high school before, as well as university students and kids from 5-10 years of age.

The other nitty gritty includes engineering, some beginner basics in music (guitar, voice, electronic dance music production), Spanish and Polish languages, survival tips in the third world, survival tips in America, acting in Los Angeles (yes, I did the "acting thing" at one point but am serious to return after meeting my current goals), some business, some carpentry, cooking, and a lot of other life dramas.

I'm sure we can always find something profound to relate to and feel enlightened at least a bit by just sharing.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I was taught some basic lessons by my father when I was a child that I have never forgot, mainly about respect. I am an organized and clean person, and even if you're not, I will certainly respect your living space as you would like it. Or, if you want, I get an absolute pleasure from cleaning, so just want to let you know that you need not worry about the order of your home if I'm around. I will help any way I can when welcomed into someone's home. Thank you!
