About Me
Hi! I'm Arth and I've recently finished High School after completing the IB Diploma. I like to read and write and share a passion for poetry and philosophy. Before going to College, I chose to take a gap year, during which I spent my time conducting academic research, working with the Indian Parliament, and working as a journalist.
I actively enjoy trekking and travelling, and truly feel that art, be it music, drama, film or any other creative work, has the power to bring the world together for good.
During my gap year, I made efforts to challenge myself to broaden my horizon. It is in this pursuit that I decided to travel alone before going to college.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I feel the idea of couchsurfing is not only intriguing but also exciting. I feel that it is important that one be able to think and feel from different perspectives. As a traveller, I feel that couchsurfing is a great way to understand a particular point of view, and, perhaps, view the city you're visiting with that perspective.
I believe that meeting people and connecting with them is an important and integral part of "travel" and that I should do my best to meet as many people as I can while I'm on the road!
I am new to couchsurfing, and thus have kept my status as maybe accepting guests. I am presently living in New Delhi, India, and have exams till May 12. Mayy 22 till July 6 I am backpacking in Europe. July 6 I come back to Delhi and thus, I would be able to host you only if you arrive after that.
