Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would love to meet some people who I can spend a good time with. People to have fun with, to hang out with, who can tell me a thing or two about their cities or who can show me around a little bit. I'm glad to do the same thing for surfers when I'm hosting.

Me gustaría conocer a gente para tener un buen tiempo y que me podría ensenar un poquito de su ciudad. Claro que hago lo mismo por surfers cuando yo les acomodo.

Interests

I really enjoy photography and am currently working on building my own darkroom. Generally interested in arts and culture and sometimes a little bit of sport, particularly basketball. Also recently discovered climbing. I love good food, good wine, good conversations, being creative, exploring new places and meeting interesting people.

Me encanta la fotografía. En el momento estoy trabajando en establecer mí mismo laboratorio. Generalmente intrigado con arte y cultura y a veces un poco con deporte. Baloncesto en particular. Hace poco también descubrí la escalda. Me encantan buen comida, buen vino, buen platiqua, la creatividad, explorar el nuevo y conocer a gente interesante.

Music, Movies, and Books

I got involved a lot with sociology as of late, most of all migration sociology and Zygmunt Bauman. My current favorite author is Hermann Hesse but there are a whole lot more.

I enjoy art cinema very much. Films that impressed me recently are Maplethorpe: Look at the pictures, When Harry met Sally and german production Drei von Sinnen. I´m also intrigued with Gaspar Noe movies. Another classic is The Godfather.

I listen to any kind of good music. Lately most of it is electronic though. If you can show me some good bands, singers rappers or any kind of musician just go ahead, I'll most likely appreciate it. I admire people who are capable of playing an intrument. Live music is the best available!

Me gusta leer la sociología. A lo mejor la sociologia de migración y Zygmunt Bauman. Mi autor preferido es Hermann Hesse pero hay mucho más. En el momento estoy leyendo Isabel Allende para practicar mi espanol.

Me encanta el cinema de arte. Peliculas que me llamaron la atención últimamente fueron Maplethorpe: Look at the pictures, When Harry met Sally y produción alemana Drei von Sinnen. Tambien me gustan mucho las peliculas de Gaspar Noe. Un clásico es El Padrino.

Últimamamente sobre todo música electronica. Pero si me puedes ensenar algun cantador, rapper, o banda buena soy seguro que me encantaría. Música en vivo es lo mejor! Me encantan personas que saben tocar un instrumento.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I guess most amazing was beating my fear of heights by swinging on the Alcove Swing in Yosemite. Also I´m currently trying to put together my own research project. If that works out it would probably be the most amazing thing I´ve ever done.

Creo que lo mas aplastante fue irme on la Alcove Swing en Yosemite. También estoy trabajando en comenzar mí mismo proyecto de investigación. Eso también sea increíble sie funcione.

I really enjoy cooking and I´m glad to surprise you with a nice meal. I´m quite talkative and bring a lot of curiosity. Also people tell me that I have a very calming effect on others so I guess I´m good to chill with.
