Hello, guys!! We are Arthur and Anny :)

We are a couple from the Northeast of Brazil (to be precise, from the state of Paraíba) but that is living in São Carlos - SP for almost one year.

I am a PhD student of Mathematics and Anny is about to start her career in the Social Sciences this year. We are so interested in travelling and in always have something new to discover and learn.

As a mathematician, I spend most of my time dealing with that science and trying to make new discovers in a high level.

We both have an especial attention about books - I can say it is one of our principal distraction and that of course will give us many subjects to talk with people in general .

Recently we discovered a new interest about languages and cultures. And to try to mix those things we are devoted to learn languages now. For the moment we are trying Spanish.

One thing I must talk about is music: we really love it! I am always listening to something and trying to discover new artists and styles.

Our passion for travelling started not much time ago, and now we are putting it in practice. It is always motivational when we return from a travel and have the certain that new and interisting things were learnt and discovered. We really like having new feelings and sensations - such as trying some typical food, observe a splendid landscape, listen to a new music, ... ).

Finally, and even more important than the places, we are also interested in meeting people and in have the opportunitie to discover their habits, preferences, experiencies, religion, traditions and another ways of life.

We hope to meet lots of you along the way and in as much situations as possible :) :)

With a great will to discover and meet new places and people around the world, and in a search for that, we ended up finding Couchsurfing. So we realized that it could be the key to make it happen.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

We've done Rafting in a good river in the city of Brotas-SP. That, until now, is our most exciting experience.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach:

Maths;
Portuguese (for those who are not brazilians and have the interest in learning our language);
Help with conversations in English and Spanish;
A bit of our Northeast culinary;

Learn:

We can learn about other habits in general, and especially other's traditions and culture;
Languages (as said before, that is one of our interests in the moment);
We love music and if have the opportunitie we can try playing many music instruments.
Something about fotography and video making;
Arts in general;
