About Me

Heyy!! my name is Arthur and I’m a french student in international relations. I lived for two years in dijon, and I’m heading towards Warsaw.

I grew up in Mâcon, a small town in Burgundy, France. Now I am fully willing to live new experiences and to make all around the world. Thanks to my studies, but also to personal experiences, I became very interested into the Balkan region and the Slavic world. Hence last year, I traveled to Serbia, Bosnia and Moldova

I’m sportive, I love running and playing volleyball - even though I kind of neglected sports recently …

What else to say? I lived in a shared flat for a year so I’m not scare of the Couchsurfing experience, even though it is brand new for me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

For summer 2024, I would like to be hosted in Berlin, but after that I will be hosting for sure when I'll be established in Warsaw. Above all, I am willing to travel and get to know people from different cultures

Music, Movies, and Books

When it comes to music, I’m quite eclectic, even though I’m a fan of electronic music , especially Aphex Twin. I would also mention Brutalismus3000, Manu Chao, Grauzone, Longus Mongus, Michelle Gurevich, I Hate Myself Because, Grimes. My dad is a fan of rock and my mother of RnB so I grew up listening to various style :)

I’m fond of cinema, my favorite movie directors would be Gaspar Noé, Xavier Dolan and Aronosfky. Last movie that I loved is All of us Strangers.

My favorite book would be La fin de l’Homme rouge by Alexievich, which I will firmly recommend to anynone who would want to dive inside the soviet and post-soviet society.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of my greatest memories and adventures was definitely discovering Bosnia, with Sarajevo and Mostar. I really fell in love with those cities, and the mix of the cultures they are bringing
