One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Lost in the Gaspésie in Quebec last year, we were just finishing a hiking trail at the twilight and the forest was slowly awaking. We were trying to reach a traffic road while we found each other facing a moose running in our direction. Surprised by the scene we were petrified and the lisse stopped in front of us. We knew that the animal wasn’t dangerous but it was the first time we saw a moose and we’re really impressed by the size of the beast. So we didn’t know what to do at all. And out of nowhere a photographer wearing hunting clothes arrived from behind us, and said to us to stay calm. He told us that he knows about moose and that this one wanted to reach his mother who was hiding in the forest right behind us but he couldn’t because he was afraid of the car. So the guy started to imitate the sound of the animal and talked with him. Then he started to walked with him to guide him in the forest to reach his mother. He went back to us and said that we were lucky that he was passing by because the mother could have been charged if we get to close. Thank you stranger speaking with animals 🙄!
