Interests

As far as interests go, I am very open-minded when it comes to trying out new things and understanding people's different views and tastes. My favourite hobby by far is travelling . My last trip was visiting home in Lisbon in September 202.
Big Eurovision fan. Politics is my main (and in the age we live in, most draining) interest and professional area. I really like being able to express myself in more than one language, so language learning is one of my top priorities at the moment. I am native in Portuguese, fluent in English, intermediate in French and beginner in German.

It's so difficult to think about my favourite music, I like so many things and don't have a single favourite song or artist per se. At the moment my heavy rotation consists of Ezéchiel Pailhès, Taylor Swift, Flavien Berger, Nicki Minaj, António Zambujo, Moses Sumney, Amir, Clara Luciani, .

Favourite books include: The Origins of Totalitarianism, by Hannah Arendt; Mere Christianity, by C.S Lewis; Superior, by Angela Saini; Candide, by Voltaire.

My favourite films are every single Pedro Almodovar films. As far as TV series: Killing Eve; The Handmaid's Tale; Game of Thrones, Years and Years; Catch-22; Watchmen; Big Little Lies; The Act; The OA...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

By far the most amazing thing I've ever done was a road trip through the Brazilian Atlantic coast, about 6000KM. I met many nice people, saw the bad and the good, gathered stories to tell, different climates and ecosystems, from temperate in the south to the stunning tropical Amazon rainforest. But the most important, amazing stories to tell and to remember forever.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my life experiences, my intermediate cooking skills, a glass of wine over some nice travelling stories. I am not really into partying but I love to go out for a few drinks in a nice bar.
