About Me

Currently I travel around europe with my dog Balu and a caravan. Before that I also hosted people in Potsdam near to Berlin (but nicer ;) )
Im working for an e-comerce startup in Berlin what sells furniture via the internet. Luckily i have the opportunity to work remote from wherever I like.
To be honest - after three years the party scene in Berlin was simply to hard for me ... not :D
I'm taking the live not too serious anymore and for the beginning just want to visit all the exiting places around me. Later I can imagine to go more far if I can arrange it to take my dog.

Overall I'm a typical german: Watching football (soccer) while having a good cold beer with friends can be called the perfect eveing. If there is no football match Star Wars will make it :D

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like the idea of bringing people toghether and for me couchsurfing is one of the best tool in the world to do so. Here it doesn't matter how you look like, if you are rich of poor, you practise a religion, want to meet people at home or while traveling etc.
The only thing you have to do is beeing openminded and you will have plenty new friends all over the world. Great!

Interests

I spend most of my time outside, having a walk, go Inline Skating, swimming, jogging and do most of this stuff with my dog Balu who is - of course - my bigest interest :)
Beside that i love to travell, meet new people on couchsurfing, in hostels or just on random events on the street. Enjoying new countries, landscapes and cultures is most of my favorit.
On the other side i also like to read several books simultaneously. Currently I have fun with "Alfred Döblin - Berlin Alexanderplatz" and "Niccolò Machiavelli - Il Principe".
To practise the creative part of my brain I usually strum the strings of my Uke. But to be honest, it sounds like I'm abusing it.

Music, Movies, and Books

Woohoooo, thats not easy. Imagine a mix of Foo Fighters | Queen | Cro | Michael Jackson | Journey | Patrice | Calvin Harris | Dropkick Murphys | Kings of Leon | David Guetta | Robin Schulz | Fall out Boy | Avicii | Linkin Park and a lot of acoustic sounds like The Piano Guys then you will have an idea what direction it goes.

Starting with Pulp Fiction | From Dusk till Dawn | Halloween | Chuck and Larry | Sinister | Tucker and Dale vs Evil| Star Wars up to La vita è bella and Dallas Buyers Club...

There is no specific book I would call my favorite , but as long as a book is entertaining (classic: The Adventures of Tom Sawyer by Mark Twain) or giving a new perspective thinking about life and how we act (The art of war by Sunzi - don't be curious I'm pacifist but its a good book what I had to read several times and I'm still sure I didn't understand everything) or both (The Opposite of Loneliness by Marina Keegan - people say it's a girlie book. I don't care, she's brilliant | and several books from poetry slams ) it will stay in my bookshelf to be read again sometimes.
