I love the freedom to explore different cultures and have new experiences. I spent about 4 years backpacking around Latin America and Asia. I'm back in the USA now, living in St. Pete, FL for a couple years years, working on my business and waiting for the travel bug to bite again ;-)

I love meeting CS locals while traveling, going out for drinks or food, and exploring the places I'm visiting. CS is great for meeting like-minded people and learning about local culture. I surfed a few couches and had really great experiences. CS is an awesome community. I really want to get more into surfing and meet more CSers wherever I am in the world.

I had my first actual surfing experience in Buenos Aires back in 2009 and it was so much fun. Then I surfed in Peru and Brazil. If you're in St. Pete, drop me a line and let´s hang out!

Music: Marley, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Clapton, BB King, Led Zeppelin, Hendrix, Al Green, James Brown, The Meters, Jack Johnson, George Clinton, Nina Simmone, Vivaldi, Bach, Otis Redding, Talking Heads...I like pretty much everything but gangsta rap and bad country.

Books: Papillon, On the Road, Walden, Dune, Into the Wild, Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance, Letters from a Stoic, Stranger in a Strange Land... lots of travel/adventure books and biographies, and almost anything relating to psychology & philosophy.

I worked as a crisis counselor in a secure psychiatric unit for several years. And in my humble opinion, talking down a 250lb paranoid schizophrenic murderer is a way bigger rush than skydiving.
