ABOUT ME

I'm 26 years old, I finished my Master's in Timisoara at the Faculty of Arts and Design, and I studied Painting.
I'm currently doing my PhD. The theme of my research is Appropriation Art. Study case on Caravaggio. We'll talk more about it if you are interested when we meet :D
I travelled a lot and I saw a lot of places all over Europe, sometimes I don't say that to people so that they wouldn't think I'm bragging. I love traveling and visiting cities which are beautiful and filled with history. I like learning languages.
I lived one year in France, with Erasmus in Metz. It was a great experience that I am glad I did.
I love to paint and draw, also I'm good at some art crafts also, like felt making. Recently got into making and thinking of installations.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I joined this site because I want to meet with people all over the world and I like to speak with people from other cultures.
Also I know that I have been here for a long time, but my travels where either with a big group, or with my parents, so I didn't had the chance to use this site at its fullest, hopefully from now on things will change, because I realized I am a travel addict, and I need travelling in my life.

Interests

Japanese Culture is one of my favourite interests besides Arts.

My Japanese might be bad, but I am in a learning process. :D
Another interest of mine is travelling. Like I said above, I can't imagine life without going out and see what the world has to offer, from busy cities to the beautiful countryside with simple people.
Another fun thing I like are boardgames, table top games, anything from the old Monopoly, to Catan, Carcassone, Ticket to Ride, Dixit, and so on. It's a very pleasent and a good way to have fun with friends and other people. I have the feeling these games connect people

Music, Movies, and Books

MUSIC

I listen to listen to music, almost any kind, from pop to rock, folk, jazz, classical, indie and alternative. I am avoiding electronic music, but I have my guilty pleasures from some genres that I don't listen to.
Been to a Bastille concert and can't wait to catch them on tour again

MOVIES

I like watching comedies, and I recently got into prized movies, from Cannes and so on. Also I want to see a lot of foreign movies, but it's hard finding subtitles in English.

BOOKS

I read a lot. Or that is what I like to believe XD A lot of fiction and art books. Those are my priorities. Also from the Japanese literature I like to read the Murakami's, both Haruki and Ryu, and also the old classics. I read a lot of manga too.
I am a big Harry Potter fan. I recently did the test on Pottermore, and I am a proud Gryffindor. Although in the past I was a Slytherin. Maybe the test changed, or I changed, who knows? And according to the personality test I am a Ravenclaw :D That might be closer to reality than Gryffindor

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I can't thing of anything. I like to think that everything I do in life is amazing.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach some basic things to know about art and history of arts, languages I know, Hungarian being known as one of the hardest languages.
I am open to learn anything
I can share knowledge and what usually people share with each other. XD
