CURRENT MISSION to maintain a life less ordinary

ABOUT ME I currently work as a travel consultant for Ultimate Jet Vacations, which keeps me busy! I moved to Miami from San Diego at the end of July for work and am loving getting to know this city. While travel planning definitely takes up most of my time these days, I love to travel, paint, photograph, write, cook, and learn about the world and the people in it!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've been a member of CS for 10+ years now, and have always had great experiences! It really makes the world smaller while making your own world bigger. I started hosting surfers in Bangkok, and continued to host lots of great folks in San Diego, Asheville, and Zunyi. I'm currently in Miami and happy to be hosting again!!

Interests

Cross cultural understanding, geopolitics, and philosophy are all things you’ll get me hooked into talking about pretty easily. I have a degree in anthropology and and love to get deep on a variety of topics relating to culture! Plus I’m a passionate traveler and love to learn about new places. Massage- I did this professionally for a few years and studied Ayurvedic, Swedish, NMT, and Deep Tissue as well as some Thai, Shiatsu, and Esalen. I hope to continue to learn and integrate more modalities throughout my travels. I'm also into art in *all* forms; I paint my own style of acrylic pieces, am very into photography, and write when I can. I'm into lots and lots of music, literature, cinema, good food, good booze, plus talking spirituality, philosophy, politics, entheogenics, and freedom!
