I'm Arthur a open-minded, happy and friendly Brazilian who lived in Germany for many years.
Since Aug/2018 I started a world trip with my boyfriend (https://www.couchsurfing.com/users/2007441209)
We're Digital Nomads, that means we're traveling and working online at same time. In December 2018 Trudy entered in our lives, an old 88 Volkswagen Kombi that had holes all around and almost did not move, but with a bit of paint and a lot of love turn to be our home :-)
We traveled with Trudy around South América and now we´re in our way back to Santa Catarina (Brazil)
I can tell you that I'm respectful, dreamy, uncomplicated and smart guy who love to meet new people.
I love to watch the sunrise at sea or on the mountains and I always feel deeply connected with nature, I'm at the beginning of a new journey and don't know where it will take me but I'm sure that when you have a positive energy good things come to you, that already happened to me several times and I'm sure that will happen again. I believe that the most important is to be happy and enjoy every moment, I believe that we are what we learn and what we live.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is such a beautiful way to meet new cultures and life, I like that. I have been a host and a guest as well. It has been great and I thing much more is coming.

Interests

I like sitting for a coffee, for a wine or beer and talk about anything interesting or just walk visiting new places. Sometimes I like dancing and make party. I really love art, history and culture, especially "Volkskultur" (Volkstanz, volkstracht, ...).

Music, Movies, and Books

I prefer dramas, romances and historical films and sometimes also Blockbusters just for distraction. I like TV series like Game of Thrones, Downton Abbey, Brothers and Sisters, Looking, Cucumber/Banana/Tofu, Sense8, Friends, Big Little Lies, The Handmaid's Tale, Mindhunter, Dark, ...
My book style is close to my cinema style (dramas, romances and historical ones) and I also really like to read brasilian literature, it's amazing the artistic potencial of some "unknown" local writers.
I like almost every kind of music and mainly to know new musical genres. I believe that music has a kind of power to touch our feelings and I have special songs for different moments of my life.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I can't decide just for one:
- Work as a volunteer in China's countryside during 3 months and live all the experiences that only China can give you.
- Expend one month in the French Alps trying to find myself on the middle of the mountains.
- Work in the refugee center for a few months.
- Travel hitchhiking, in south France without speak French and also hitchhiking across 3 states in south of Brazil.
- Permit my self to be who I am.
- Seat with my grandmother and listening her life story.
- Trudy and the adventure around the world need to be on this list too ^^
- Decide to start this world trip.
