About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Traveling to share my knowledge about water manageing!

ABOUT ME

I see my self as a patient, sympathetic, friendly and spontaneous person although I am not sure if everybody shares this ideas about me. I am also quite stubborn, idealistic, a dreamer and I despise dis-respectfulness towards other people, cultures, ideas and above all nature. I love to learn and hear new things, especially sharing ideas and toughs. This is why I am usually happy to meet new people and hear about their adventures and philosophies!

PHILOSOPHY

philosophy??

I am thinking a lot about life in general and I enjoy thinking about it. I would like to learn more about myself so I can understand life and the world better. And how can I learn that better then by travelling, meeting new interesting people with different thoughts beliefs, experiences and cultures!?!...
Meanwhile, its alright to be confused, I guess I spent most of my live being confused, rarely figuring anything out. The world and the universe is a weird place and mainly based on coincidence, so maybe I should stop thinking, and just let things happen.. No worries, be happy!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

While traveling in 2009 I found out that CS is really the best way to travel, so I want to offer this experience to tourists as well. After gaining experience hosting in both Spain and Ecuador I'm back in Amsterdam I want to continue hosting here also. I also use CS to make friends in both Amsterdam as well as locally in the countries I travel to.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have been couchsurfing in Japan for almost 3 month's in 2009. I had a great time doing that, so I continued hosting and traveling like this. Ever since I picked up surfing and hosting (in Viet nam, Ecuador, Colombia, Spain, etc) and going to events. I had great experiences! The CSers I met around the world usually are open minded and thus a pleasure to hang out with! I enjoy to share experiences, stories, laughs, philosophies and couches and I hope to keep doing this for a long time to come!

Interests

Meeting People, explore places and religions, Cooking, Pizza, Nightlife, books, Friends, games, sports, MUSIC, making Music, techno, nature, water, cameras, ect.. ohw right and traveling.

Music, Movies, and Books

All kinds, but especial music that make people Happy /active or philosophical, like Reggea, Salsa, Classic and classics, Ska, Rock and some Dance and electronic music. Also like punk, Techno, D&B, Dubstap, GTA san andreas radio music... ,etc etc.

Then, I am blessed to have a father who owns a bookstore, so I read a lot! I like both like nonfiction as fiction since I have to amid that the books from the "A song of ice and fire" (Game of thrones) took many nights.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

All the people I met during living and traveling especially enjoyed living/ traveling in Ecuador, Viet nam and Japan!

Teach, Learn, Share

Learn? Something that I can share with the world!
I am not so certain I can teach anything other than to tell about my travel experiences and about the City and country I live in. For surfers this probably comes out more helpful than for hosts, but who knows my anecdote's might be handy or at least amusing. Besides that do I have some skills in languages, such as Dutch, English and Spanish, skills in playing instruments and I know a thing or two about sustainability and Water management. All which for CS purposes proved completely useless because these are not exactly the topics one wants to share while representing ones country. However, I am certain we can have good conversations about a wild range of topics!

What I Can Share with Hosts

My curiosity to others cultures, my cooking, my house as exchange to being hosted, stories, a Smile, a drink, a laugh, Dutch culture, Friendship, I usually bring a gift, a CS reference, music, movies, books, etc, etc ,etc.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belgium, Colombia, Croatia, Czech Republic, Ecuador, France, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, United States, Vatican City State, Venezuela, Viet Nam

Countries I’ve Lived In

Ecuador, Japan, Netherlands, Spain, Viet Nam
