Overview
About Me
I am newly married in Christmas 2019. My wife and I met in 2018 during a trip to Cambodia, she's the sister of my couchsurfing host at the time.
----Work odd jobs, quit, cheap travel, bumming around, explore new places, new diet plans, meet different people and embrace their cultures. THIS IS how I would sum up my life since graduation.
As my ever loving mother always ask me, "how are you going to survive this world when you get old''
Time flies, I can't believe I am a 33 year old married man , and still don't have a definite answer to ease the worries of my mum. But I believe being humble, curious and loving are the keys, life will sort itself out.
P.S. I am born and raised in Hong Kong, not moving back anytime soon.
But I seriously will not appreciate questions like ' How's your family doing in CHINA'
THIS IS NOT ABOUT POLITICS,
The differences between living and growing up in China and Hong Kong are just too different.
I will consider leaving a negative reference to whoever asks about my friends and families in CHINA again.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
It's been more than 10 years now I look back, I started out on couchsurfing during my trip in Poland and Bosnia back in 2008.
I also surfed in Iran. where at the time when I was there couchsurfing was banned by the government(I met randomers on the street. and they offered me a couch!!)
In the summer of 2014, with the help of a lot of fellow couchsurfers/warmshowerers I finished a cycle touring trip in Canada from the West to the East Coast
In 2018, I met my wife when I was couchsurfing in Cambodia.
I gained so much from this network and want to continue to grow as a man and a traveler.
Interests
Vegan Recipes, intermittent fasting, high intensity interval training
I have a passion on travel, it's a thing that once you started, you're addicted.
