About Me

Currently living in Vienna working with & further developing my own method of teaching movement & training. Sometimes teach English to intermediates and advanced people

I like to travel and have been mostly to Africa the last couple of years.
Had some years with less traveling but intend to change that in the near future :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like the idea of sharing without money, helping others and receive hospitality :)
I heard a lot of positive stories from friends, who used it all over the world and was intrigued.

Sadly, since I've joined, I hadn't had the possibility to host or enjoy any Couchsurfing...

Music, Movies, and Books

oh my god...

I know this is necessary small talk & info... but... no...
maybe sometime later, I feel like talking about such intimate stuff ;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Beginning of 2015 I climbed the holy mountain of the Massai - Ol'doynio Lengai
Which is an active Vulcano - not toooo high but not for the faint of heart (I have to say that, otherwise it doesn't sound spectacular enough for this section)

I was there on the night before full moon and my Massai guide said, it had been the first time, that we were able to go without switching on the head lamps; we could go almost all of the time with only the moon shining on the way and the Rift Valley below... it was breath taking! and memorable! and sthg fit to be written down here :)

Teach, Learn, Share

English
Sports

to a degree. It's my profession, so...

but I like to listen to stories and help viewing something from a different perspective

I like to work in company - even, if it's quiet company... like sitting in a Café on the same table; writing stuff; ordering coffee - chit chat a little... discuss something one is working on...
So if you('re) like that, holler

What I Can Share with Hosts

Well
I can come in quite handy
as a bicycle repair man
a peri-patetic (not pathetic ;) philosopher
force to be reckoned with when heavy things have to be moved
a beer

and many more things

I'll look around, what really enthusiastic people write in here and then I'll plagiarize them shamelessly! It's not cheating, if you tell in advance, Buddha says

Have fun :)
