About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Do well as a doctor and try to have an inkling of fun whilst doing so.

ABOUT ME

I think I'm funny. I've written scripts/made short comedy films with my friends for fun, and even performed standup comedy a few times. I'm glad I can make people laugh (though a lot of times I just as easily offend people, so LOOSEN UP!).

I'm tall. Not like that matters, but if you need help getting things from high places, I'm your man.

PHILOSOPHY

I want to have that perfect balance of enjoying life and doing something meaningful. I know enjoying life won't be easy in the field of medicine, but hopefully that will come later

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Though I don't stay on peoples' couches really, I love meeting people in the new places I go to. No better way to get the culture and experience of a city than to tag along with a native.

Interests

I love watching films, writing, cooking, cracking jokes, reading, exercising, playing videogames.

Music, Movies, and Books

Leon: The Professional; Pan's Labyrinth; Dumb and Dumber; Deuce Bigalow Male Gigolo; the Vacation movies; Saving Private Ryan; Gladiator; Jurassic Park.

I love reading anything Stephen King or Michael Crichton.

As for music, I love classic rock, disco stuff (EW&F and Beegees and the like), and some metal (but none of that screaming crap).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

1. I won a contest and got flown to Las Vegas to be in an episode of Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmern on the Travel Channel. I ate live grubs on national television on the 100th episode special. HOW CRAZY IS THAT?!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach bumbling buffoons the basics of kitchenwork and cooking! I can also teach sciencey things. And how to write well and engagingly.

Countries I’ve Visited

Bermuda, Canada, France, Greece, Israel, Italy, Thailand, Turkey, United States, Viet Nam

Countries I’ve Lived In

United States
