About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Meet new people from all over the world and travel all over the world.

ABOUT ME

Born and raised in Jakarta, Indonesia until I was around 17. I came to the US for college and never left. Live and work in New York. I consider the great city of New York home now (although Jakarta is always going to be home).
I could be a little shy at first, but open up very quickly, so if I come across as quiet, it's not because I don't like you. Don't worry, if I don't like you, I will let you know. :)

PHILOSOPHY

Treat others like you want to be treated, but that doesn't mean I can't be a bitch to other people (usually they deserve it) :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Am new here, so haven't really participated yet. But would love to be able to host people from all over the world and see the world.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

New here, so no experience, unless you count meeting random people at a bar and crashing at their place couchsurfing.

Interests

Travelling (obviously), exploring the city, checking out the bars, peoplewatching. Oh, I also LOVE to eat and very adventurous when it comes to it. Why leave this world without having tried a turtle egg, cow brain, or fish sperm sac. Ok, the last one sounds kind of gross, but it actually wasn't that bad.

Music, Movies, and Books

I stream an Italian radio station from iTunes that plays the latest dance/pop music. I read a lot for work, so I tend to not read much when I have free time, unless if I'm travelling.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The latest and greatest was being up in one of the temples in Tikal. The view was mindblowing. The scenery in Banff is also quite amazing. Oh, and waiting in line before midnight of New Years eve in a local temple in Tokyo to hit the huge bell to purify oneself for the new year (and they serve sake and give you shrimp crackers after you hit the bell).

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you Indonesian. Or how to take the subway :)
