About Me
I would like to think I'm pretty good and fun guy, but it's really hard to tell these things about yourself .
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
While studying this was a top-notch way how to travel around, so I tried it a couple of times.
It's all about the people who you meet here, that's why it's just easier to stay at a hostel. But I think this is a great way to make travelling more interesting - also affordable. If you get lucky, you can really get a story just from staying at someone's place, getting to know the place you are going from a native perspective.
And, of course - the language thing. This forces you to communicate in English, what for non-native speaker is not a common thing. This is a great way to improve your English!
By the way, if you ask for not-copied couch requests and people to read your profile, and afterwards you don't even respond to such request (even not a simple "im busy, sorry" - you are a bad human being. Just saying.

Music, Movies, and Books
Comedies. Nothing beats a good laugh. But not the shallow ones.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Compared to hardcore people, I've done nothing amazing. Compared to an average Latvian Joe, I've done plenty of amazing things - I've seen Mona Lisa and Champions League trophy in real life, been in Africa (okay, it's just Morocco, but still counts) and the furthest western point of continental Europe (Cabo da Roca), surfed in ocean.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach some Latvian and a little bit of Russian. Obviously, I can cook some latvian food, talk about latvian history and latvian thoughts. Also I can talk about politics, teach debating principles. Share my Erasmus experiences and other stuff.
What I Can Share with Hosts
My Erasmus experiences - how it's to be living in Porto, Portugal, traveling on student friendly budget, also my Latvian experiences - I can tell what we eat, what we do and what we think :)
