About Me

few years ago, i first entered the website with a friend of mine, tim, so dont wonder if you see his name somewhere at this site. i really prefered the old cs...

i m anja, 32. when i was a kid, my parents started travelling with me in summers. so we went by plane somewhere, stayed 2 weeks in a hotel, came back. i realised, thats not the way i want to travel, so when i became older, i started hitchhiking and visiting friends of me in their cities. then, it was time for exploring the world a bit more. i want to travel, experience different cultures and languages, find hidden places, get to know to amazing people with hearts in the right place, share stories or listen to them, dance through the rain or start a new adventure. thats how i started, i guess.

i love music: post/black/deathmetal, postrock, noise, crust, dbeat, grind, powerviolence, antifolk, some electronic from time to time. ... i often go to small concerts from friends or nice bands in lovely antifascist places (there are quite a lot in berlin), since a year, i draw a lot and feel like i really need to, it helps dealing just with everything. i like hanging out with friends, go camping, swiming, enjoing time in the parks or forests or at the sea. i love books and animals. i m spending a great amount of time with dogs, especially with my parttime-podenco best buddy/better half lila.

i am open minded, polite, respectful and trustworthy. i dont eat at mc donalds or drink coca cola, i am a vegan. i love to work with people with disabilities.since 2009, i live in the same shared flat with 4 flatmates and a real beautiful bengal cat, a lots of time with lila, too. so i know how important an open communication is as i know how to clean or tidy up my things. i like to share and i dont need much for feeling happy or comfortable. the right people before the right places, right?

unfortunately, i just have a small room of 8 m² and i dont feel so comfortable sharing my retreat with people i dont know yet, so for me, its not possible to host anyone at the moment. believe me, 8 m² are cosy and charming, but really small for books, dogs and different people, even if i also live here with another person from time to time. dont hesitate asking me to meet up for a coffee, concert or coconut. if i have time, i do it with pleasure!

if you want to host me and friends of mine, dont be afraid, we are not complicated. we just need a small sofa, or a mattress on the floor. we dont expect that you hang out with us the whole time, we can also find our own way through the city, but if you want to show us a lot, we dont mind. its up to you.

Music, Movies, and Books

books, lets see, there s yalom as one of my favorites ("the schopenhauer cure" is awesome as well as "when nietzsche wept"), julie zeh (corpus delicti, ...) and dont forget those fantasy stuff (yes, i have to admit: i love hobbits, dwarfs and witches, especially those from terry pratchett) and then, there s children and youth-literature as cornelia funke, michael ende and so on.
i love scandinavian movies and their weird humor, but also stuff like the eternal sunshine of the spotless minds or movies of emir kusturica.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

it s the small things which make my day, even if it s just to realize how important friends are and how happy i am to share life with them day by day.

i rescued an almost dead kitten, which was fallen down into an empty pool. others have been already dead, but this one could survive and finally found his way back into life.

Teach, Learn, Share

sharing stories and visions and knowledge. i can teach you some german, if you want to. i would love to improve my spanish. or guitar playing. revolution?
