I have been living in Jerusalem in the last 3 years. Moved here to be close to my workplace. I work as a software engineer and develop iOS apps for video and photo editing.
I like trying out new hobbies and to have interesting and unusual experiences. I get excited by synergies of technology and art.
Usually I do not travel much outside of my country. Hiking and exploring is a big passion of mine. When my friends are fed up with my nagging, I find partners in local Facebook/WhatsApp groups and of course CS. You are welcome to ask me about upcoming plans even if you do not stay with me.

What can I offer to travelers:
1. Couch (see home description), clean sheets, shower, coffee or tea. In summary- cozy hosting.
2. Recommendations and knowledge about Jerusalem and Israel.
3. Sometimes I take guests to a tour around the city or just eating out at cool places.
4. Sometimes I take guests to the Dead Sea or a weekend hike in the desert (can’t promise every time)
5. Board games, I can introduce you to to virtual reality headset (I have meta quest 2)

*About sending me host requests:*
I don’t mind receiving non personal requests but the request must explain your intentions clearly you also you must have a non empty profile. What I am interested to know is:
1. Who are you?
2.What are your plans in my city?
3. What are you looking for with you request?
4. When you plan to arrive?
5. If you come with a friend, please write who is your friend and how well you know them (eg “best friend since kinder-garden” or “someone you met a week ago while traveling”). If your friend don’t have CS account, I might ask for a photo of an ID document and a recent photo of the person, just in case. Hope you understand.

I have many reasons to decline hosting. Some are not related to you. For example I might be tired or overwhelmed by human interactions or having other plans. I will not always write the reason of the decline. I try to keep the calendar up to date but some things are too dynamic. Please do not take it personally.
