Présentation
À propos de moi
CURRENT MISSION
To travel the world and experience as much as I possibly can!
ABOUT ME
Well, my name is Lisette (obviously). I love to travel and experience anything new. I can be very talkative as well as the "quiet one", depending on the circumstances.
I paint, draw and read a lot. I simply love to do anything creative!
I don't drink much, unless it's with the right company.
I was born in Sweden and grew up there. Then after High School I moved to the UK to study Fine Art at the University of Wales and I lived there for 3 years. After graduating I moved to Sydney, Australia with my fiancé. Currently I'm living in Sweden and working as a Registered Nurse in a surgical ward.
PHILOSOPHY
Do whatever you want as long as nobody gets hurt. As simple a philosophy as it is fun.
Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing
I thoroughly enjoy meeting new people and experiencing new things. Through couchsurfing I've had the greatest experiences, from getting picked up from the airport in the middle of the night for a quick tour of Abu Dhabi before coming back to the airport to get on my next flight a few hours later, to going 4WD and having great conversations about everything and nothing, to a couchsurfer actually witnessing my proposal and being the first one to congratulate us.
I'm on couchsurfing because of all these things and for all the things I might experience in the future and for all the things I'm hoping I let others experience.
Centres d'intérêt
Painting, drawing, reading, movies. I'm not much of an athlete but I love the ocean. I'm a PADI certified Advanced Adventurer diver and I'm planing on getting my Advanced Open Water Diver certificate this summer.
I'm a typical cat person. I have a cat named Severus that I spoil rotten and who I've taught to play fetch and give me high fives for treats.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres
Hmmm.. how to narrow it down? I like it all! When it comes to movies and books, I always get so caught up in the story that I can't tear myself from it, even though I might hate it. Since I get so caught up I usually avoid anything that's purely depressing, beside from that I love it all.
Music is pretty much the same. You name it - I probably like it.
Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue
I travelled for the first time on my own when I was 16, which was an experience. After that I went to the Full Moon Party in Thailand on my own when I was 18.
With my nursing course I went to Tanzania to work. It was an experience which taught me a lot about humanity and to truly appreciate what I have. We also went on a safari which was incredible!
So far the most amazing thing I've done was going diving in the Maldives and encountering several Manta Rays. They were so curious that they started circling us and came close enough to touch. Being alone with only my diving buddy close by and those massive creatures was a humbling and incredibly exciting experience!
Enseignez, apprenez, partagez
I'm happy to learn anything and I'd be glad to share my knowledge if anyone would want it.
