ABOUT ME

Seen the world by land and sea.
I used to be a designer and sculptor. I design sculptures for towns and private commissions and other graphic and media jobs.
I also have worked in the movie industry.
I live with my 15 year old son. We are both well travelled.
Though I am a NZ'er by birth I lived away for 22 years and then sailed back here on a Yacht.
Have been here ever since and love the North.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Just by offering a couch at times that I can make myself available.
If we dont respond its not that we are rude, just maybe travelling ourselves or busy.
Happy to help out with info about the North if needed.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Mostly good. But we are not a Hotel!!:)

Will read trashy novels to relax, delve into theory and good literature or flick through Art magazines, and can be caught sometimes reading Classic car, boating, and garden mags. Have eclectic taste in music, sometimes its loud, sometime just to listen quietly, depends on the mood or how many candles are burning. Mostly listen in the car and sing to music when nobody else is there.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Sailed a yacht to NZ from Canada, worked as an artist/designer in Japan for 8 years.
Trekked through Nepal over the Torren Pass at 18,000 feet to Manang and lived to tell.
travelled through India on a Motorcycle.
