I'm a young 27-year-old Finnish guy living in Helsinki, Finland. Right now I'm studying to become a professional cinematographer in the national film school of Finland. Occasionally when I have time, I love to go traveling and meeting new people and getting new experiences.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

By couchsurfing, I'd like to make new friends and share great experiences. I think couchsurfing is also a good way for a traveler to see "the real kind of life"; by living in someone else's home, you get to experience a new culture hands-on! This way travelers can also share stuff that would otherwise go unnoticed such as places, activities, food etc.

Favourite music: All sorts! Lots of indie / folk stuff (Ben Howard, Bon Iver etc). I also listen to a lot of rap music and film scores.

Favourite movies: Waaaay too many to mention! I love both fiction and documentaries. I also like to watch series (been binging a lot of Game of Thrones lately)

Favourite books: Tolkien, Albert Camus, Madventure books. I would definitely like to read more..

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I hitchhiked from Helsinki to northern Norway and back (3000 km) in just one week. I still even managed to have time to stop in some places and enjoy the adventure :D
