I´m a 29 year old guy just feeling around the landscape of now while peeking above the valleys of the future. Ok, that´s a bit trite, but not completely untrue.

I'm a recent film graduate and I am currently working from gig to gig in production and assistant direction. Doing a bit of writing in the meantime.

I´m the kinda guy who one could say is driven or obsessive about his passions, but also has an ability to laugh at himself. I'm currently in an exciting place in my life, because it´s possible I will start my long term Film studies in a few months. In order to distance myself from the stress and anticipation, it's time for me to expose myself to Europe that has for so long eluded me.

As I´ve grown up, it has become ever more evident that traveling is one of those things that are intrinsically valuable. The possibility to witness wonders of the lands not even that far away or to expose yourself to the charming peculiarities of other peoples even mundane activities. Also I appreciate that you can get Vogue cigarettes pretty cheap from Prague.

As a traveler I usually travel alone, because I love the ability to be just a rootless spectator and a student of reality. Also, it's a pain when your 17 year old cousin wants to see the Eiffel tower even though you aren´t even at Paris.

兴趣

I recently calculated that I have seen about 2000 films in about 15 years. This was disappointing, because I´m not even close to Ebert. Anyway, I'm an enthusiastic film buff and I have studied film production for few years.

Aside from film, which admittedly I can drive someone crazy with, I am a fan of cooking. I really like to experiment with french and italian cuisines and I am pretty experienced with fish (I have a pretty good fish finger recipe).

I am also trying to expose myself to music as much as I can and I would like you to help me with that. :)

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

When I was in London, I was almost trampeled by a Pride parade. Instead of resisting or panicking, I let them absorb me and within minutes my suit and tie attire was completely glittered and flowered. After an hour of walking, I was pulled away by five gay guys who wanted me to hang out with them. Of course I said Ok. I ended up to their apartment and.....I played mario kart with them in my glittered suit.

It wasn't necessarily amazing, but it was a nice detour.

I would say I know Finland's history very well making me a pretty good lecturer and a Tour guide. Also, I am pretty knowledgeable about film, music and modern culture overall and eager to learn more.

I am eager to learn about countries and cities especially from a locals point of view. When I travel, I am not really that interested about the big tourist attractions and experiences. I feel that the city becomes kind of a distant real life sized miniature that way, if that makes any sense. I am more interested about the ground level and the nocturnal aspects of the city. The winding roads, the corners and the alleys, the secrets that the city holds.

As it is in finnish custom, it's a matter of character to return the favor to those who help you out. I'll start giving back by just trying to be a good guest.

I naturally like to talk about Finland, which sometimes seems to live in obscurity and I like to ask a lot of questions about the country I am visiting. Also, because I am well versed with culture, if that is your thing, we have a lot to talk about.

I am more than willing to help with or cook food. I have a recipes I just might bring some tastes from Finland.
I also love showing people around and my flat is close to quite a few points of interest.
