About Me

Hey there,

My name is Artur, I am 23 years old. I am a Design student at the Federal University of Pernambuco, Brazil. I'm currently living in Coimbra as an Erasmus student. Unfortunately, I won't be staying in Portugal for too long (just sticking around for a semester). So in the meanwhile, I'm trying to enjoy it to the max by traveling around this incredible place and other European countries (so far, Spain that I loved... and soon France).

I consider myself an easygoing and friendly soul. I am into reading and writing stories, going out at night, and sometimes just doing nothing and chilling.

In case you need more information about me, you can text me or check my Instagram: @o_artuur

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like to believe places are made by the people who live there. Having the opportunity to connect with its residents gives me a much more immersive and rich experience than any hotel room could ever offer me.
I would love to create bonds and make new friends in every place.

I am also trying to find out more about myself, try new things, and I don't know, learn about life.
I guess Couchsurfing is a perfect way to achieve all that.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've already achieved two exchange bursaries in my life. For the first time during high school, in which I had the incredible opportunity to live in Canada for a semester. And the second time is just happening as I am attending a Design course at the University of Coimbra as Erasmus.

Teach, Learn, Share

It would be great to learn more about another language and experience it... I've been working a little to learn french and german. It would be awesome to find someone to help me understand how the city works. I know people have their own schedules, but I would love to know your city from your point of view. Of course, I'd be thankful if you could at least give me suggestions of places to visit, and directions so I don't get lost haha.

I would love to spend some time with you, as I'm willing to bond and make friends. So I would love it if we could hang out together or whatever.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Great company, great talk. I must say, I will follow the house rules and gladly help you with anything you need.
Maybe I can make you some brigadeiro (Brazilian chocolate dessert/sweet) or caipirinha (so we can drink while chatting). I can share a bit of Brazilian culture with you too.
