About Me
Oh, well. This is always the hardest part, you know :p No idea where to start, so let's go with the chronology.
Since a child I always fancied natural sciences. But in late 90s Russia was definitely not the best place for a scientific career, forcing me to try and learn something different. I chose public relations, studied for it worked a few years as PR-manager...
Until the time came for me to realize that I HAVE to do what I want to do, so I left my public relations career and life in Moscow behind and headed to the Netherlands, Maastricht Science Programme, where I started over again as a bachelor of biological sciences.
So, quite obviously, I am a huge fan of science. Aside of all this, I'm a big fan of football, music, literature and board games . I play a little bit of guitar and I love to sing. I'm quite a spontaneous person, routine is very poisonous to me.
Ah, and of course I love mountains. Hiking trips in summer and snowboarding in winter.
Think there is a little bit more about me, but I'm not really sure what to add more. I'm sure you'll like me, though :).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
You never know where life brings you tomorrow, and having roof over your head is sometimes a very good idea :) And of course I love meeting new people!
Interests
Well... My interests reside around the fact that I want to know more and experience more, no matter how cliche this may sound. Gotta combine that in the best way I can.

Music, Movies, and Books
There are soooo many, haha
Hammock, Tycho, Placebo, Radiohead, Deftones, Slowdive, Guano Apes, Brian Eno, Red Sparowes, 7 Paca, Powder! Go Away, Ride, Sigur Ros, Aphex Twin and many, many others
I don't spend much time watching movies, but my favourite one is definitely Forrest Gump.
As for the books, I'm a massive fan of world's classics fiction, like Stanislav Lem, Kobo Abe, George Martin, Ivan Efremov, Rodger Zhelyazny, Nick Perumov, Ray Bradbury and all the others :). I think I read all the classics in fiction. A bit less I fancy Russian and World's classics, just don't have that much time for everything, you know : )
My favourite non-fiction book (haha, every book is fiction, funny how no-one realizes it) is A hundred years of solitude.
