ABOUT ME

I think sometimes it's better to leave maps at home and trust own instinct. That's me. I am just curious of world. I am looking at horizon asking myself what's behind it. When at last I come to know, I find out, that there is another horizon. And another one... over and over ;-)

I think if something left to discover in the world, it must be people. Everyone is a hero of its own single movie. That's why I like so much traveling. For me It's an extraordinary way of meeting new people.

Besides that I am an easygoing guy with slightly abstract sense of humour.

PHILOSOPHY

I like to treat my life as a movie. There is no movie with a hero, who is wasting his time. He has to move forward, do some action to complete the story. Road movies are one of my favourits. That's because they consists three paralell roads. First - a story for a spectator, second - excuse to start a hero's travel and last, the most important - a process that changes hero's mentality. So that's why I am also looking for my road.

Interests

Travelling - that's why everyone are here I suppose ;]
Books - now I read mostly reportages and Terzani is my personal guru!
Scriptwriting - not so long ago I've been writting script for (sic!) teen soap opera, but that's just a beginning of a longer story...
Movies - I'm Tarantino fan number one ;-)
Music - rock concert is my natural environment, but I listen nearly everything from Gorillaz, through Public Enemy, to finish with Buena Vista Social Club
Uke - I am a happy owner of ukulele. It doesn't matter I can't play - I just love it!
Web design - yeah, I design websites and do all that weird IT-stuff to make them work properly

Music, Movies, and Books

I am inspired by books of Tiziano Terzani, but I read quite a lot, different genres. Music? I love concerts and music festivals. I listen mostly rock, but in fact there is no genre I don't like. In every of them I can find a real diamonds. Films? I am a Tarantino fan! However my best film ever is far away from his style. "Garden State" is pure magic. Try it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Being lost in Nepalese jungle is a precious experience. No doubt about that.

I am on a way back home from China through Khazakhstan, Ukraine to Poland. 11 days left to my friend's wedding ceremony. Mission impossible with truck hiking on deserted chinese steppe.

I've taken wrong train. Instead going to Warsaw, I have got stuck in Berlin. I had no cash, no phone. OK, that happens. But how about meeting a guy running one of biggest brothels in Germany with bunch of spicy stories?
