About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Live and enjoy life as it goes without looking back

ABOUT ME

Taking up an International Business Management degree in Cardiff Metropolitan University, I'm a pretty open minded, sociable and entertaining person always up for a plan. Originally from France I now live in Cardiff, UK for my studies. I'm naturally a very curious person and I like meeting people who enjoy sharing their passion.
I'm good at sports in general and as any respectable french person good at cooking. I love spending sociable moments with my friends. I am always trying to dicover new things.

Field hockey is my passion. I played for France with the youth team and I have been able to travel a little through hockey. Hockey is not a very well known sport but there's a beautiful spirit that is hard to find elsewhere. Who doesn't enjoy a good laugh with their friends with a nice refreshing pint in hand after a game? I also enjoy all different types of sport as long as it provides you a nice spirit and a good laugh. I also really like cycling all over the place. I take my bike with me everywhere I go. Cycling is such a nicer and healthier way of transport. I just can't stand sitting in the tube or in a bus with all those people only minding their newspaper or iphone. I also go for beautiful bike rides with friends during my free time, often along Cardiff Bay where there are some amazing hidden places around there which I would be more than happy to show :)

PHILOSOPHY

You have to make the most out of your life. Always enjoy what is given to you and never look back.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I believe CouchSurfing is a revolution in the backpacking world and I'm happy to spread out the word so that hopefully one day, we could live in a world where a Couchsurfer would be at every corner of our cities :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am fairly new to couchsurfing but some friends has told me so much about it that I can't wait to start it in my next trip to Thailand. Seeing a new culture in a local perspective is just amazing.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: The kind of movies which twist your mind so much than you're still thinking about it when you go to bed: Inception, Shutter Island, Intouchables, etc..

Music: A bit of everything depending on my mood but I particularly like these ones: Parov Stellar, Ratatat, Skrillex, Dub Inc, Daft Punk, Red Hot Chilli Peppers and lots more.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Being part of something which started from scratch and finished by being a great success and achievement.

Teach, Learn, Share

I've been studying Intenational Business for a year and the most important thing I've learn about the international development sector is that developing countries do not need young volunteers coming from the developed world. They end up taking jobs of the locals, and their cultural and professional inexperience often lead to greater harm. Young volunteers can make a much greater impact through raising awareness and mobilizing funds in their own country.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Laos, Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland, Thailand, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In

France, Spain, United Kingdom
