I’m Artur Rodrigues, and I’m a Software Engineer at IDXP Analytics and a Masters degree student in Data Visualization in the Computer Science Department at UFMG.

I created Como nos Sentimos in 2011 and have been working on it since then. ADVISe is another visualization tool that I proudly developed.

At IDXP, I take care of the Platform and the underlying bits and pieces that support our product, from custom OpenWRT scripts, to multimillion daily datapoints, to Sinatra-powered micro services. Before joining IDXP, I've spent two years at EloGroup as a Rails developer and DevOps engineer, taking care of 100+ AWS and on-premises servers, ensuring that they were consistently provisioned and applications were properly deployed and monitored. I've also worked at DeskMetrics and CEMIG, and was a visiting CS student at University of Leeds.

At some point I'll leave the standard software engineering career to establish my own Visualizations/Creative Applications/Large Interactive Installations shop.

I like to think I'm a great Go-kart driver, an ok swimmer, and insist that every Brazilian (and pretty much everyone that can afford) should visit Inhotim.
