Hi everyone!

My name is Arturo Leon. I am a 29 years old mexican who moved for studies to Stockholm almost 6 years ago. I used to work as a sustainability consultant doing climate calculations for construction projects. Now I have started my new company together with 2 other firends and where we help different property owners to make their properties sustainable.

In my free time I love going to festivals and concerts, try to have the most plants that I can alive, and help create community trought the beauty of music. I am also a big yoga fan so if you also like it I can take you also with me to my favorite studio. I am a curious and creative person and I am always open to learn new things.

I have a big passion for traveling and meeting new people, and I used to work in my first year as a free walking guide in Gamla Stan, the old town in Stockholm, so if we have time I can also give you a tour!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I just moved two months ago to my dream appartment in my favourite area of Stockholm, in Södermalm very close to Nytorget. I want to offer my apartment so other people can also enjoy the best places in Stockholm and wishing that my guests could do the same at their homes and continue spreading the beaty of safe travelling and making new friends.

Now I have hosted a good amount of people in my house and most of the experiences have been great but sometimes I feel that it's me who gives more and I believe couchsurfing should be a mutual experience. It is not sustainable for me and wouldn't like to take out my apartment from couchsurfing.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am an evolving person and don’t close myself to new discovers. I consider myself a music and cinema lover and I don’t read as much as I would like to but I really enjoy novels and when I get into one book I normally finish it in a couple of days.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I got my first concultancy job in Sweden combining my digital and sustainability knowledge by automating the process of normal climate calculations in constriction projects using 3D models and making carbon visualizations visualizing the materials or "hotspots" in the model to make more sustainable decisions.

I can teach you italian, spanish, english or swedish. I can also show you to cook mexican food.
