About Me

Based on Mexico City. Environmental policy planner.

Nerdy guy, plant lover, walker. Trying to be a man, not a macho.
They call me R2D2, R2, son, brother, güero, friend, güey and so on...

IG: arturo.marthe (I'm not a selfie's guy, but you can find what my eyes love to see). Feel free to send me a DM if I can help you.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My therapist asked me to hang out with cool people ;)

To know a place you need to know the people. To know the people, you need to know the place.

The best way to learn is listening, and I want to learn a lot.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: From Olafur Arnalds to J Balvin; mainly pop and regional music.
Movies: Drama, thriller and more drama; Millenium, Relatos Salvajes, Sueño en otro idioma, Amelie, The Good Doctor, Irreversible, Tarzan

I don't usually read lots of books, but I like José Saramago's novels.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I learned some aerial silks figures in two weeks. My feet and my hands got pained, but 'fly' was very funny.
I've seen a whale jumping over the sea, with her babies surrounding her.
I've lived 2 weeks in the middle on the rainforest, collecting caterpillars for a research.

Support children's science projects, and create some environmental laws (I told you I'm a nerd).

Teach, Learn, Share

To live on the sustainable way, without being an extremist.
To play violin (Twinkle twinkle little star, at least haha).

I know this is not LinkedIn, but in the professional way, I can share my experience about ecotourism, environmental policies, air quality programs.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A place to rest.
Orientation about traveling in Mexico.

Maybe a piece of my heart :) (I want to donate my organs when I die, BTW haha).

Countries I’ve Lived In

Mexico
