Overview
About Me
I lived in Salamanca, Spain, until I turned 18, when I decided to move to the Netherlands to attend uni. Currently, I am living in Uppsala but planning a move to Amsterdam to start my first full time job.
I love travelling as much as my budget and schedule allow me to, and for a couple years already I have started really getting into travelling alone, as well as doing other things alone such as going to concerts, which I have found to be very enjoyable.
Right upon meeting someone I come across as shy but once I get comfortable I unleash the craziness and the embarrassing jokes.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because travelling alone can get a little tedious at times, so it is good to have a point of reference in the city, someone to talk to, and the possibility of making a new friend. Travelling for me is not just about taking selfies with the landmarks you can find in the city, but also about getting to know how living in the city actually is, and also having stories that I can cherish for a long time after the trip is done. Also, hip party tips.
Interests
If I had to choose three travel-related interests they would be music, photography, and food. Music is my main travel buddy, especially when I am alone on a long bus or plane ride. I love discovering new music and talking for hours on end with someone that has the same music taste as me.
Photography has also been a passion of mine for very long. Getting the perfect shot, one that manages to capture the essence of the day-to-day in the city, is one of the most rewarding things I can do during my travels. It really depends on my mood during the trip, but sometimes I enjoy shooting videos of the city I am in, and experiment with different narratives.
Finally, food. Eating the local dishes. Socialising around food is easy, and who doesn't enjoy eating? I love trying the hidden spots, street food, sharing those experiences with someone, and then returning home and missing that one late-night restaurant that served an amazing and cheap dish.

Music, Movies, and Books
Right now I am into HONNE, Oh Wonder, Vance Joy, and the National. All time favourites include Lana del Rey, Chvrches, Josef Salvat, and Foster the People.
Favourite books I would say: The Art of Travel, and The Architecture of Happiness; both by Alain de Botton.
I'm more into bingeing TV than movies, so here they go: Pushing Daisies, BoJack Horseman, Community, Happy Endings, Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency, Preacher, Halt and Catch Fire.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Getting to where I am today considering how clumsy I am. That counts, right?
Teach, Learn, Share
Talking about anything ranging from current affairs and politics to the best kebab you've ever had at 5am in the morning.
What I Can Share with Hosts
A positive attitude, awkward jokes, nice conversations, and maybe some homemade cooking.
